Lead Software Engineer, Back End (AWS, Java, Python) at 77 West Wacker Dr, Chicago, Illinois. Capital One is seeking Back End Software Engineers passionate about using data with emerging technologies to drive transformation within the company.
Responsibilities
- Lead diverse technology projects and a team of developers
- Stay updated on tech trends and experiment with new technologies
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions
- Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 1+ years of cloud computing experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- 7+ years of experience in Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- 1+ years of people management experience
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
