Junior Software Engineer (Hybrid)

Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Junior Software Engineer in Maryland Heights, MO. This position develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for Mission Planning products in support of Tapestry’s T-38/F-15 mission planning team. Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system. Supports software project management. May lead, develop, select, tailor and deploy software processes, tools and metrics. Performs software research and trade studies. Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and/or regulations. Follows company software standards and processes.

Requirements

  • Strong background and expertise with C# development and Visual Studio.
  • Extensive experience developing object-oriented applications using .NET framework design patterns.
  • Experience participating in Agile software development teams.
  • Ability to maintain and extend existing software products and to design, code & test newly developed code and applications.

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in programming in C, C#, C++, Java, Python or Visual Basic.
  • 1+ years of experience architecting software solutions.
  • 1+ years of experience with MS SQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
  • 1+ years of experience as an Agile software development team lead.
  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

Additional Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with Azure DevOps (Team Foundation Server (TFS)).
  • 1+ years of experience with mission planning.

Education/Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
