An employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, seeks a talented and motivated Junior Python, SQL, and AWS Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python programming, SQL databases, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and develop skills in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications and scripts to support various business requirements.
• Design, implement, and optimize SQL queries and database schemas for data storage and retrieval.
• Deploy and manage applications and services on AWS infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality code standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Python development, SQL databases, and AWS technologies.

Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience working with SQL databases (e.g., Redshift, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite).
• Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and IAM.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, C#).
• Understanding of web development frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, React).
• AWS Certification.
