Job Description
My client is a multi-strategy hedge fund, looking to add a talented Junior Python Developer to their Cambridge-based development team. You will be contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of their proprietary backtesting and analytics platform. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain the core functionalities of the platform using Python, and you will conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure stability and reliability.
Requirements
- MSc/PhD in a STEM discipline
- Strong Python development proficiency
- Experience with Python libraries - NumPy, Pandas, Polars etc
- Bonus: Knowledge of financial markets or quantitative finance concepts
