Job Description

This position offers the flexibility of full remote work from anywhere in the UK. Occasional visits to our office near Milton Keynes may be required, typically 1-2 times a month and for initial induction when you join.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable code using Python.
• Design, build, and maintain databases utilizing MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure software quality, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our software offerings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of strong experience in Python development.
• Familiarity with MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is preferred.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
