You and your future
During the Young Engineering Professional Program (also known as YEPP) at Rabobank you work on your career one day a week by following a technical track, or you work on your personal development. You develop talents you didn’t know you had and we are given the space to discover for yourself what you are good at and what you like. Everything you learn in the training courses can immediately be put into practice, because the other 4 days you work in your starter position as a DevOps Engineer.
In the program, you will work together with the team on 2 business challenges on themes such as sustainable agriculture or the cooperative energy transition.
As a DevOps Engineer
Your daily responsibility is to support your squad with quality code. You will work in a scaled agile setting and collaborate with different squads providing Data Platform services to end-user teams. Your role includes regular interaction with users to understand their needs and deliver a positive user experience.
Examples
- Develop solutions in various tools and frameworks within the Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform, such as Data Factory, Machine Learning studio, Databricks, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Develop and improve CI/CD processes with Azure DevOps.
- Take turns to be the operator of the sprint, monitoring the solution and addressing any questions and issues from users.

Your development
To become a specialist in your field, in the Young Engineering Professional Program, you mainly attend training courses 1 day a week to support your talent development. You will build your network, gain valuable experience, and develop skills crucial for your career growth.
You and your talent
You should have a bachelor or master's degree, affinity with software development, proficiency in English, and a focus on solutions. Feedback, learning from mistakes, and adaptability are essential traits.
