Expert Technical Solutions has an immediate opening for a Junior Data Scientist with an industry-leading client in Atlanta, GA. The client is seeking a highly motivated and research-oriented individual to enhance their contact center solutions through the development of advanced NLP algorithms and models.

• Work in a collaborative team environment to explore and create solutions using machine learning
• Contribute to the design and automation of new model production and updates
• Maintain documentation of processes and projects

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Junior Data Scientist role include:

• Productizing AI predictive models
• Producing data and model accuracy analyses
• Automating new model production and updates
• Collaborating with developers to improve automation tools
• Exploring high-level business problems using structured and unstructured data
• Developing and fine-tuning machine learning models
• Communicating research findings and model recommendations effectively

Required Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates should have:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
• Proficiency in Python
• 2+ years of experience in script development and deployment
• 1+ year of Windows experience with remote access
• Minimum of 1 year implementing machine learning and NLP models
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and concepts

Desired Skills

Desirable skills for the Junior Data Scientist role include:

• Proficiency in deep learning libraries like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience deploying NLP models in production environments
• Experience with large language models and software organization
