Our client, a very well-known Retail company, is looking to hire a Data and Analytics Specialist for a 12-month contract.

Your New Role

The Data & Analytics Specialist will play a crucial role in designing database solutions, managing database operations, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and delivering effective data-driven solutions. The role will be responsible for:

• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing PowerBI reports and dashboards
• Supporting data quality and data cleanup techniques
• Designing, developing, and optimizing data infrastructure, business intelligence, data analytics, and reporting capabilities
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals alignment
• Gathering business requirements for data visualization and automating the data flow
• Transforming, cleaning, and integrating data using Power Query and Power BI
• Monitoring and maintaining automated systems and providing training and support
• Developing and maintaining python scripts to automate day-to-day tasks
• Troubleshooting/testing solutions and performance-tuning

What You'll Need to Succeed

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analyst/Scientist
• 2 to 4 years of experience in data processing
• Hands-on experience with data management and maintenance
• In-depth knowledge in excel and proficiency with analytical tools such as Power BI, Looker, Qlik, Tableau, and SAP Analytics Cloud
• Experience with MS Power Suite, SQL, Python, and/or R programming languages
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Understanding of no code data pipelines and cloud-based solutions
