Job Description

Create and evaluate test environments for Vehicle Health Management (VHM) systems applications. Design, review, integrate, test, and verify Over the Air (OTA) software applications for GM conventional ICE and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) passenger vehicle including OnStar Core Module (telematics), in Java, J2EE, and Python technologies, using PySpark and Hadoop tools, and Hive framework in Linux operating system and Cloud environment, using Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Kubernetes tools, following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, for future model year vehicle programs and global markets to meet vehicle specific electrical architecture, system, security, safety and encoding requirements.

Develop new repositories with Spring Jakarta Persistence API (JPA) and Hibernate frameworks to update the vehicle history in Oracle and Apache Ignite tables. Automate deployment and enhance Vehicle Health Management (VHM) systems current production application product components including new service offerings in a globally distributed environment, in Linux operating systems, using Jenkins and Linux scripts tools.

Additional Job Description

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and one (1) year of experience as a Developer, Programming Analyst, Engineer, or related role. Must also have experience with: analyzing and implementing business requirements using Java and J2EE
