Data Engineer:

  • The candidate will be working as part of scrum team with PO, Scrum Master, Tech Lead and several developers & testers, DevOps resources to move the OnPrem application to AWS Cloud.
  • Will be working on stories to move features of the application to AWS cloud environment.
  • Technologies used are AWS Cloud, Python, etc.

AWS, Python:

  • Experience developing solutions on the AWS platform using services such as RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, EB, IAM, SDK, CLI, Code Deploy, Code Commit, Lambda/Step Functions, Cloudfront, Cloudwatch, etc.
  • Experience with Docker, ECS, EKS, Fargate, EMR ESB, Code coverage tools like Fortify.
  • Exposure to CI/CD Continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Test Automation, Build tools like Gradle/Maven/Ant.
  • Experience with version control tools like SVN and Git.

Tech Skills:

Must have:

  • Python, Pandas , NumPy, Pyspark
  • AWS Hands on Development Experience
  • AWS EMR, Redshift, Glue
  • Database (Oracle , Postgres)
  • DevOps - Jenkins , Cucumber

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge in AWS Development, Python, PySpark, AWS DevOps, Agile
  • Skilled in JavaScript (nice to have)
  • Experience using BitBucket (Nice to have)
  • Skilled in using Selenium for testing
  • Skilled in AWS Developer tools such as CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodeStar, or CodePipeline
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Skills in AWS Glue
  • Skilled in SQL
  • Skilled in Docker
  • Skilled in Jenkins
  • Experience using APIs for developing or programming software

Skills in SAS is not required however it is considered a Nice To Have.

Must be FULL-STACK Python Developer
