Spatial Solutions Division (SSD)
Part of the Decision Advantage Solutions Business Area, the SSD is currently seeking a Full Stack Python Developer for the Chinook Program. Responsibilities include all aspects of the software development lifecycle within an Agile model. The successful candidate will work with a lead development group in Tucson, Arizona, for frontend UI development using JavaScript and backend implementation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Resolve various tasks as prioritized by the team product owner.
- Take ownership of delivering enhancements within a system or application.
- Collaborate with fellow software engineers to create and document optimal technical designs.
- Write automated test scripts for developed code.
Basic Qualifications:
- US citizenship is required per contract.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency with technologies like HTML, CSS, Django, REST APIs, Python, Java, JavaScript, REACT, Postgres, Windows, Linux, Git, Jira, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and REACT.
- Knowledge of cloud architectures and services like AWS, IBM, Google, Azure, Oracle, etc.
- Certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer or similar.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Docker.

Pay Range: $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
