PHP/Python Developer

Job role: Five 9s Developer with experience in PHP/Python

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend and front-end development, a strong understanding of software engineering best practices, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience and a solid understanding of backend development (Python, PHP/Laravel preferred, Java/Spring desirable) and front-end languages (JavaScript) and frameworks (Vue.js desirable).
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience implementing digital channels with the Five 9s framework.
• Proficiency in software engineering practices like continuous delivery and automated testing. Experience with Jenkins and CICD pipelines is highly desirable (3+ years).
• Solid experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with a team.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and document software across backend, front-end, and interaction management platforms to deliver end-to-end features.
• Collaborate with product owners and designers to expand the feature set and create high-quality user interfaces.
• Take operational responsibility for the performance and quality of services owned by your team, including participation in an on-call rotation if necessary.
• Stay updated on recent technologies and work with the products team to implement innovative ideas into products.
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members.
• Contribute to the architectural design process for new products and solutions.
