ETL Tester with Python/AWS

Job Requirement

• Experience Required:
• Over 5 to 6 years of ETL/Data testing experience.
• Database Technologies: Hands-on experience in ORACLE database technologies, Strong expertise in ORACLE SQL and PL/SQL scripting.
• Other Skills: Experience with MongoDB and querying collections. Experience in Python scripting. Relational database experience with expertise in writing complex SQL queries & joins. Knowledge of Unix/Linux Commands.
• Tools & Software: Proficiency in WinScp and Putty. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience in Data validation and comparison.
• Methodologies: Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM. Experience in ETL Processes.
• Concepts: Knowledge and experience in Metadata and Star schema/Snowflake schema.

Roles And Responsibilities Includes

• Review requirements and specifications, and define test conditions.
• Design test cases and test scripts, recording and reporting outcomes.
• Prepare Test Strategy, Test Plan, Detailed Test Cases, Test Scripts, and Test Scenarios.
• Analyze and report test activities and results.
• Identify and report issues and risks associated with work.
• Use testing/quality assurance tools such as qTest and JIRA.
• Communicate clearly and effectively to varying audiences.
• Carry out regression testing when code changes are made.
• Provide defect information to developers for fixing.
• Prepare Summary Reports and communicate with the Test Lead or Test Manager regularly.
• Contribute to Team Review Meetings and track work progress.
• Have competent technical skills and the ability to work in a team or individually.
• Experience in the financial domain is a plus.
