eCornell Online Course Facilitator
eCornell offers short interactive courses with small cohorts (most are 2 weeks) to help learners apply new skills immediately. Course Facilitators enhance the learning experience for students, in addition to content from Cornell University faculty and high-production value courses.
Seeking Qualified Facilitators
eCornell is looking for facilitators in program areas such as Python Programming, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or SQL.
Hired Course Facilitators Responsibilities
- Become part-time casual employees of Cornell University
- Receive onboarding support
- Share real-world experience with students worldwide
- Encourage reflection and information sharing
- Assess and provide feedback on assignments
- Collaborate with eCornell staff
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree and 5 years of relevant experience
- Deep understanding of Python Programming, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or SQL
- Effective use of technology for communication and instruction
- Excellent English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching, tutoring, or mentorship experience
- Online instructional experience
- Ability to facilitate courses beyond the specified areas
