DevOps Python Lead Engineer

Job Description

• Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for migrating legacy Server platform services to a new platform
  • -Understanding the needs of customers and performing the migration for the customer
  • -Working on ways to automate and improve internal system processes
  • -Developing, testing, executing, examining scripts and analyzing results
  • -Identifying technical problems and developing updates and fixes
  • -Working with engineers to ensure that migration successfully completed and works as intended
  • -Investigate best practices for server platform migration
  • -Perform root cause analysis of errors and resolve technical issues
  • -Develop scripts to automate internal processes
  • -Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Required Skills

• • -10 years experience as a / DevOps engineer / SRE Engineering
  • -Experience in software deployment processes
  • -Experience in building and configuring CI/CD pipelines
  • -Experience in SRE Automation or regular scripting language automation experience
  • -Infrastructure architecture experience along with server platforms
  • -Proficiency in scripting languages such as batch scripting, Perl, shell scripting, etc.
  • -Perform necessary configuration activities during the migration process
  • -Good knowledge of Python and or C++ , Java is nice to have
  • -Good verbal and written communication skills
  • -Good Problem-solving and troubleshooting attitude
  • -Collaborative team spirit
  • -Ability to organize independently

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• -Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
• -Python experience for a large company
