What is the purpose of the role?

The DevOps Engineer will assist in both the development of the cloud infrastructure and client platform deployments.

What will you be doing?

  • Continuously update the AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure.
  • Maintain Git-based CI/CD workflows using Github Actions and AWS CodePipeline.
  • Work on automating and improving pipeline orchestration.
  • Assist with debugging issues on the testing and acceptance environments.
  • Partner closely with both the engineering and data science teams to drive product releases.

Do you have what we are looking for?

  • 4+ years as a DevOps Engineer or similar roles, or 3+ years as DevOps and 1+ year in software engineering.
  • Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, EKS, RDS, and CloudWatch) or similar (GCP, Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes is mandatory.
  • Expertise with modern Python Programming.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or similar tools as a bonus.
  • Understanding of GitHub Automation.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work in the Leiden office 3 days per week.
