Description
Captivation Software is looking for an entry level Data Scientist who will support and contribute to the ever-growing complexity behind the data our customer analytics ingest. The DS-1 will be able to analyze and provide insight in new and existing data sets; these insights will allow the customer to better implement and optimize analytic suites. The customer has plans to expand their analytic capabilities to utilize Au/ML along with graph-based technologies and frameworks.
Requirements
- Security Clearance:
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering or computer science).
- One (1) year of experience analyzing datasets and developing analytics.
- One (1) year of experience programming with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB
- Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- An additional four (4) years of experience in software development, cloud development, analyzing datasets, or developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
Required Skills:
- Experience programming with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB
Desired Skills:
- Experience in software development, cloud development, analyzing datasets, or developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics

Benefits
- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
