Job Description

A senior Data Engineer or Data Developer with 10+ years of experience is needed in Troy, MI for a hybrid position. The ideal candidate must be proficient in ETL development using Data Stage, Informatica, and Snowflake, as well as have strong skills in Python and SQL. Banking experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Understand and support businesses through the design, development, and execution of ELT/ETL processes, data integration, and data analytics.
• Stay up to date with tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and mentor team members.
• Design data platforms, data pipelines, and data stores. 
• Work closely with customers and project teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead data integration across the enterprise.
• Develop technical best practices for ELT/ETL activities.
• Lead the design of technical solutions for data lake and data warehouse.
• Oversee code development and testing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field + 10 years of development experience preferred.
• Experience with BI tools, APIs, and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in DataStage, Informatica, Snowflake, and AWS cloud services.
• Experience in data modeling, data science, and cloud data solutions.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
