Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer (Snowflake, ETL, Python) in Westlake, TX.
Key Tasks:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining the platform using Cloud and mature development strategies
- Ensure the platform follows industry best practices around security, availability, resilience, and scalability
- Design solution leveraging Snowflake native capabilities
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/similar technical subject area and/or equivalent experience
7+ years of overall experience
Strong experience in database concepts including design, schema, views, tokenization with any mainstream product such as Oracle, etc.
Hands-on experience in SQL, ETL, Python, Data Modeling and AWS
Hands-on experience with Git
Experience with Camunda or BPM products such as JBPM or IBM ODM is a plus
Strong expertise in SQL including ability write and tune complex queries
Strong understanding of ETL
Understanding of Snowflake roles and user security
Understanding of Snowflake design patterns and migration architectures
Exposure to Python and Apache airflow
Excellent and effective communication required
Strong problem resolution skills required
Ability to work in an agile environment required
Compensation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
