Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer (AWS, Python, Oracle) in Westlake, TX.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- AWS certification a strong plus
- 10+ years in Oracle development (PL/SQL) and/or Streams based development
- 5+ years of ETL technologies
Additional Requirements
- 3+ years in AWS Cloud environments
- 3+ years in Containerization and Orchestration technologies
- 3+ years in Application web server technology concepts
- 2+ years in Python/PySpark
- 2+ years in data modelling
- 2+ years in NoSQL experience (DynamoDB/Aerospike)
- 2+ years in Java development
- 2+ years in microservices architecture & development
- Strong understanding of Data Warehouse modeling and Reporting and Analytics platforms like Snowflake
- Strong understanding of API development with large scale, highly available Enterprise class platforms
- Experience in Agile team setting (Kanban and/or SCRUM)
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD environment
Compensation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation Kforce would pay for this role. They offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance. Salaried personnel receive paid time off.
Pay is not considered compensation until earned, vested, and determinable. Compensation may be modified in Kforce's sole discretion. This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives, or commissions.

Salary: $66 - $74 per hour
