Job Description
We are currently sourcing for a Data Engineer to work in Fidelity’s Workplace Investing in Durham, NC.
The Team
- Our Data Engineering team is dedicated to developing an infrastructure that will change the way reporting is done across various products and reports.
- We focus on building an Analytics Repository, a centralized platform designed to support personalized core and common reporting experiences.
We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated Data Engineer with strong programming fundamentals, to help transform the analytics landscape!
The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including DynamoDB, RDS Postgres and Oracle.
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management technologies such as: Air Flow, ControlM etc.
- Cloud abilities specifically in AWS EC2, S3 and IAM.
- Proficiency in Python for at least one year
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred)
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups, in a constructive and collaborative manner and build and maintain effective relationships.
- Full-stack development experience across distributed applications and services
- Experience implementing the Software Development Lifecycle in an agile environment.
