Key Duties and Responsibilities
Architect, design, and develop high-quality software solutions using Java, Scala, and Python. Also, address complex technical challenges and spearhead refactoring initiatives to improve code quality.
Demonstrate hands-on coding expertise and deep understanding of technology stacks. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive innovation. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members for their professional growth.
Champion technical excellence within the engineering team, ensure adherence to best practices, and constantly seek to increase competitive edge through world-class technology.
Required Skills
- Relevant years of experience in software development with proficiency in Java, Scala, and Python.
- Expertise in AWS services with a history of deploying data solutions on cloud platforms.
- Experience in engineering project and process management in an agile environment.
- Experience leading engineering teams with a track record of increased quality and productivity.
- Proficiency in Go language is a plus.

- Hands-on experience architecting and building large-scale data processing infrastructure.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture, cloud infrastructure, and containerized deployments.
- Familiarity with NoSQL storage databases such Cassandra and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of batch and streaming data pipeline technologies like Apache Beam and Apache Spark.
- Proficiency in large-scale data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, and Snowflake.
- Experience with orchestration and deployment frameworks for microservices such as Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
