C++/Python Expert Software Engineer in Simulation & Tools Organization

Position Summary

We are setting up a dream team that will jointly develop Simulation & Tools projects like Software-in-the-Loop, which will be playing a key role in a variety of projects.

SIL solutions are used to simulate hardware systems via software on PC platforms. SIL is critical to shortening project cycles in the automotive industry which is characterized by the use of complex and special hardware.

You will work in this team as a software engineer, responsible for software design, coding, unit test creation using C++.

Your Role

• Design, develop, test, and deploy different components of our system.
• Integrate and validate all software components
• Participate in a full life cycle of the product.
• Develop and apply built scripts and operate continuously as new software versions are delivered into the project
• Work with passionate people and develop new features

Requirements

• Excellent understanding and hands-on experience of C++ (preferably C++17)
• Practical knowledge of Python programming
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to travel to support customer
• Degree in Computer Science, Telecom, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or comparable
• Experience in professional software development
• English language at advanced level

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloud Base solutions, virtualization, and containers
• Knowledge of Git, Gerrit, Gitlab, Jenkins
• Knowledge of some scripting languages (e.g. TCL, Perl) and Linux
• Being familiar with software development processes (like SPICE, Agile) and software engineering tools
