Job Description

Job Title: AWS Python Developer (NodeJS and Angular or React)

Location: Houston, TX Hybrid 3 days onsite

Job type: Contract W2 and Fulltime Role

Responsibilities

• Front end Development: Implement and integrate front-end elements using modern frameworks such as Angular and React. Writing unit test scripts for Angular or React experience is required
• AWS Cloud Services: Utilize AWS services for cloud-based stack and application deployment, monitoring, and scaling. Manage serverless architectures and implement serverless functions. Serverless framework with cloud formation
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Database Management: Design and optimize database structures using both SQL and NoSQL databases. Implement data storage solutions that align with project requirements
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards. Conduct regular security assessments and address vulnerabilities promptly
• API Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python. Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate smooth communication between front-end and back-end components. Integrate third-party APIs as needed for enhanced functionality. Writing unit test scripts in python experience is required
• Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues promptly. Provide technical support during testing, deployment, and post-production phases
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to the development team

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Proven expertise in Node.js and Python development. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and serverless computing
• Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in full-stack development. Strong background in building and deploying scalable applications
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and technologies. Eagerness to stay updated on industry trends and advancements
• Education: Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
