Job Description

Role: AWS Cloud / Python Developer

Term: Long Term Contract

Location: Montreal, QC (Onsite-Hybrid-3Days per week)

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and support Cloud infrastructure as code artifacts or modules
• Design and lead the implementation of highly scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions for AWS, utilizing Terraform and Python
• Participate on an agile team to deliver AWS Account and IAM Provisioning via full automation
• Support and deliver using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines
• Design and Support resiliency and scalability using AWS and other cloud platforms
• Ability to use the tools and infrastructure that support the SDLC pipeline and configuration management capabilities
• Enable systems with automated monitoring and alerting
• Support the Team and Customers with day-to-day requests, Change and Incident tickets
• Support Technology stack refresh on Systems (end-to-end) when required
• Ensure automated security is built into each technology stack

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Experience working in a high performing DevOps team or role

Experience in performance monitoring, alerting and troubleshooting in an enterprise

Strong, holistic understanding of the internet and hosting from the network layer up through the application layer

Experienced python developers with microservice methodologies, using services like step functions, lambda, api gateway, terraform, and docker. As well as experience doing code quality analysis, code testing/staging/integration, etc. Codebuild, Codepipeline are nice to haves
