Automation Engineer - Python

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Automation Engineer HIL/SIL Automation Engineers with Python scripting expertise

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing test scripts using various scripting languages
• Leading tests of software to ensure proper operation and quality improvements
• Documenting test results to requirements (traceability)

Technical Proficiency:

• SYNC and Automotive Testing
• AV DX and Electronics
• Instrumentation and troubleshooting skills
• Application design and development with C# .Net, SQL
• Spreadsheet gear and DevExpress libraries
• Windows deployment
• Understanding of MBD process in Body areas
• Knowledge of test case creation
• Embedded Development Lifecycle
• Test engineering and QA
• CAN & Ford internal logging/simulation tools
• Programming language: Python
• Automation tools: Selenium, Appium
• Understanding of Automotive protocol (CAN, LIN)
• Experience with automotive testing tools
• Automotive tools: CAN, VNModsim, VFS, PBT
• Experience with ECU hardware
• Powertrain Domain, Automation
