Applications Developer

Job Description

WaferWire is currently seeking an Application Developer to join its team. The primary objective of the team is to develop an internal tool that facilitates efficient model shipping for data scientists. The key project involves creating and enhancing this tool, addressing bug fixes, investigating pipeline failures, and addressing security concerns. The tool is built on Azure DevOps and Azure resources, requiring proficiency in Python and C#. This role offers the opportunity to work within the AI domain, expediting model deployment for data scientists while maintaining high quality. Responsibilities include developing internal tools and features for various partner teams.

Role: Application Developer

Location: Redmond, WA [Remote]

The Role Will Consist Of

• Developing internal tools to help data scientists ship their models efficiently, using Python, Azure, and Azure DevOps.
• Involvement in bug fixes, investigating pipeline failures, and fixing component governance and security issues.
• Remote role that does not require on-site presence.
• Part of a team in the center of the AI area, assisting data scientists in reaching out to end users faster and with better quality.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain internal business systems/applications under deadline pressure or take primary role in smaller, low-risk projects.
• 1-3 years of work-related experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technology and Azure DevOps required.
• Must have the ability to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
