Summary of the Team
The purpose of the team is to develop an internal tool to help data scientists ship their models efficiently. The key project that the team is working on is developing an internal tool to help data scientists ship their models efficiently. The contractor will be responsible for developing new features, bug fixes, investigating pipeline failures, and fixing security issues. The tool is based on Azure DevOps and Azure resources and requires Python and C# skills.

- Develop and maintain internal business systems/applications under deadline pressure or take a primary role in smaller, low-risk projects.

- Ability to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolutions.
- Degree in computer science or related field required.
Typical Task Breakdown and Operating Rhythm
The day-to-day role involves developing internal tools to help data scientists ship their models efficiently, using Python, Azure, and Azure DevOps. The role also includes bug fixes, investigating pipeline failures, and fixing component governance and security issues. The role is remote and does not require on-site presence. The role will be part of a team that is in the center of the AI area and helps data scientists reach out to the end users faster and with better quality.
Candidate Requirements
- Years of Experience Required: 1-3 overall years of experience in the field.
- Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree is required to be eligible for this role.
- Best vs. Average:
- A best candidate would have Python, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps skills, as well as experience with CI CD pipelines and internal tools development.
- An average candidate would have Python and Microsoft Azure skills, but not Azure DevOps or CI CD pipelines experience.
- Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and timeline.
