Job Details

The Role Responsibilities

Leadership and Coordination:

  • Team Management: Leading a diverse team of software developers, possibly with various levels of expertise. Distributing tasks effectively based on team members' strengths. Ensuring the professional growth of team members through mentorship and training.
  • Client Stakeholder Coordination: Acting as the primary point of contact between the development team and the client. Understanding client requirements and translating them into technical specifications. Managing expectations and ensuring that deliverables meet client needs.

Project Management:

  • Agile Methodologies: Implementing and managing Agile processes like Scrum or Kanban. Conducting regular stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Tracking project progress using tools like JIRA or Trello.

Requirement

Python Proficiency:

  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Understanding of Python libraries and frameworks relevant to the project (e.g., Pyspark). Implementing best practices for Python development.
  • AWS Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc. Architecting scalable and secure cloud-based solutions. Managing AWS resources and optimizing cloud expenses.

Communication

Facilitating effective communication within the team. Resolving conflicts and fostering a collaborative team environment. Clearly conveying project status and technical concepts to stakeholders. Negotiating timelines and scope changes when necessary.

Problem-Solving

Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise. Analyzing complex systems and making decisions based on multiple factors.

Additional Considerations:

  • Being able to work with and lead team members from varied geographical parts.
  • Certifications: Having relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, CSM) could be beneficial.
