Job Description: Graduate Adjunct Professor – Python

Trine University is currently seeking Adjunct Professors to teach their Information System Python PHD, Doctorate class. This will be for a Michigan position but can be remote.

Requirements for the Position:

• Have experience as a professor or in the IT field with a PHD and knowledge of Python.
• Earn $3600 for 8 weeks of work with flexibility in hours.
• Classes are 8 weeks long, with a commitment of up to 10 hours per week per class.
• If no prior teaching experience, faculty training class available for preset courses.

Role of Adjunct Faculty:

• Engage students actively and convey enthusiasm for their learning.
• Provide constructive feedback and assess learners' work using rubrics.
• Demonstrate subject-matter expertise and help students connect concepts.
• Collaborate with TrineOnline team for continuous improvement of courses and programs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree in IS/BA Field with zero work experience required.
• Experience with Python programming language.
• Meet minimum technology requirements as specified here.
• Successful completion of onboarding training.
